Well, June definitely seems like the peak of unmissable conference season. Just a after we picked the winners for our Webit competition, we’re excited to announce our media partnership with Wear It – and give away two tickets for the must-attend fashion tech conference in Berlin.
This year’s Wear It festival, taking place on 19 and 20 June 2018 at Kulturbrauerei Berlin, will bring together the most successful innovators in the wearables and e-textile industry to explore the future of fashion.
The speakers list will make sure to deliver on that promise. Attendees will get the chance to hear from Nicole Cifani of Matrix Industries, a company responsible for the world’s first smartwatch which doesn’t need charging as it’s powered by body heat; artist and designer Rachel Freire, whose clients include Giles Deacon, Alexander McQueen/McQ, Emporio Armani, Temperley London, Coach, Kanye West, Victoria Beckham; cyborg activist Moon Ribas, who can feel seismic activity happening on Earth and even space thanks to a sensor implanted in her body; award winning designer Julia Korner, who is responsible for co-creating stunning 3D printed costumes for the blockbuster movies ' Black Panther ' and ‘ Avengers ’; Daniel Egger (Head of Wearables, Swarovski), also author of 'Future Value Generation’; and many more.
Beyond inspirational talks, guests will also get involved in hands on workshops and mentoring sessions on anything from public relations and investment to product development and pitch training.
We had such a blast last year and we want you to experience the conference first-hand! So, needless to say, we’re absolutely thrilled to give away two tickets for Wear It to our community.
But you need to be quick! To enter, all you have to do is follow us on Twitter or Instagram and retweet (for Twitter) or like (for Instagram) our competition announcement before 17th June. The winners will be announced on 17th June 2018. Good luck!
