The next edition of Avantex Paris (4th - 6th July) - the industry event that brings together the fashion, fabric and technology innovators - will include a Fashion Pitch looking to reward the best innovative fashion and textile projects with international visibility among investors, professionals, media and, of course, a major prize.
The Avantex Fashion Pitch is aimed at creative start-ups offering innovative products and services for fashion and textiles. Startups can apply if they fit the following categories:
Services
Innovations in the fashion sector selected on the basis of three criteria:
- the ingenuity of the project
- the socio-environmental impact in the sector
- the economic potential
Textiles & soft materials
Innovative textiles and flexible materials selected on the basis of three criteria:
- stylistic interest
- ecological performance
- the level of innovation and expertise invested in the product
Fashion design
All innovative fashion products (clothing or accessories) chosen with regard to the four following criteria:
- stylistic interest
- ecological performance
- the new inventiveness and expertise invested in the product
- the degree of innovation that the product presents
Among all applicants, up to 10 startups will be selected for the final which will take place on 5th July at Avantex Paris. The winner will receive a prize of a total value of €3000, including a startup booth at the next Texworld Evolution trade fair.
The deadline for application is 15th June 2022.
